CRM for Jira Development Update

CRM for Jira Development Update

Howdy! My name is Victor and I’m a senior developer leading the team behind our marketplace app: Crumbs - a straightforward CRM app in Jira that allows your team to capture relevant information about your customers and show it in context within Jira issues.

In this blog piece, I want to highlight some of the features we’ve recently released and some exciting upcoming features that are in active development.

Recently Released Feature: Field Sections

Group information about customers into sections.

On the field management page, simply drag and drop your fields to customise what information is most important to your team and organisation.

You can even drag sections:

Before you know it, your customer information will be grouped to make more sense.

Upcoming Feature: Search Customer by Fields

Having a difficult time finding your customer? We are working on allowing you to search for customers using information that you have captured for each customer.

Upcoming Feature: Public API

Want to automate your business process with the information captured against each customer? Or want to connect your external CRM to Crumbs? We are working on a public API to allow you to make the most out of the information your team has captured.

Features will include:

Generating token(s) to access the API securely.

Interact with Crumbs data using a REST API.

Get and set information about customers using the API.

Link and unlink customers to/from issues using the API.

warning: This is a work in progress, features might be different on release.

Crumbs: CRM for Jira is available on the Atlassian Marketplace now; it’s also free for teams of ten or fewer.
